From conclusions:

"Daily supplementation of calcium with vitamin D for seven years had no effect on the incidence of colorectal cancer among postmenopausal women."

Misleading conclusion. Their 400 IU dose of Vit D was pathetically low and therefore totally ineffective. However if you look at table 2, you'll see that their data show that serum vit. D level was strongly inversely linked to colorectal cancer.
