I feel it's basically good to be straightforward, and also good to be in motion rather than waiting for some nebulous future time. "Crowding out donors by their donations" feels like it implies these, but I'm not sure I'd phrase them this way?

It additionally seems useful to have small donors crowded-out and free to do something else with their initiative in a straightforward way; but that seems like a separate manner, to be addressed with a claim like "Small donors are more likely to do other good if crowded out" or something.
