[summary: So far so good]
I teach unusual math classes at the University of New Mexico and have been looking for a fun and open place to write about math and to engage my students likewise. There's a lot to like about the set up here at arbital and I'm gonna give it a try.
Back in 2008 I got my PhD in Number Theory at the University of Wisconsin - Madison and still have a strong affinity for math, its learning, and history. The other side of my world is wrapped up with games and learning. I'm a long time member of the ARIS project, now part of Field Day Lab, where we produce software for augmented reality game design and other forms of mixed reality exploration of the world. I write about some of my work at the Local Games Lab ABQ, and in my spare time I make speakers.
